Finding BFF on social media is something that humbles me. Even though well into their planning, Aimee was feeling like the direction she was going with their florals didn’t speak to her. The inner child that had always loved flowers. Many texts back and forth discussing concept, we finally meet at our studio. “This  is much more interactive than I imaged,” K said at the end of our meeting. Their trust & our connection is valued. During the process this delightful couple also commissioned me to create a pressed art piece of their wedding florals. Their wedding day was a sunny summer morning with stunning views of Portland. The Floral Story included a collection that centered around Calla Lilies, lace inspired Astilbe, Freesia, Ammi (for the name & heart like petals) & a childhood favorite—Snapdragons. Following their reception we prepared remainder of this couple’s flowers into mini bouquets & donated to Glenwood Senior Living & Memory Care. What a kind way to begin this journey together.
