The breeze blew through the apple trees but the skies were clear on this September day. Family & friends gathered to celebrate the exchange of vows of this sunny couple. As I prepared Caitlin’s bridal bouquet with my signature french braid ribbon— I thought of her fairytale braids she always wore to our meetings. I treasured getting to know her further after their referral to us. Caitlin’s equally delightful aunt booked us for a pre-wedding event for the family, our Wreath Workshop. This Hood River venue created stunning backdrop to an arbor swag created on site, eucalyptus garland cascading down the farmhouse tables, & the sweetest couple’s cake. Caitlin’s bouquet was a muted collection of roses, hydrangea, Cosmos, Scabiosa pods, Dusty Miller & the requested Dahlias. Mike’s boutonniere featured a perfect bud snipped from the same stem of Dahlia in Caitlin’s bouquet. A bounty of happiness wished for this young family.
