For Julia and Jack’s wedding, we wove together the story of their love across two landscapes. The ceremony took place at the historic St. Francis Church in Bend, with the reception following at Black Butte Ranch in Sisters. An autumn palette of bright citrus—tangerine and lemon—set the foundation, while olive branches, oriental poppies, and kangaroo paw honored their time meeting and living in California. Research revealed a native delphinium growing along the Metolius River, where they were engaged, which we incorporated alongside maple and cottage roses to celebrate the Pacific Northwest. Even our work sessions yielded thoughtful details: race bells to greet the couple on the church steps and table names inspired by their favorite hikes.
